I am now wondering if writing in chalk, “Shoot your local rapist,” is illegal. Imagine writing, “Shoot your local principal” on the sidewalk outside a principal’s home, that would be damn unnerving and absolutely of interest to the police. You hear stories like that and you can’t help but feel sympathy/empathy for them. To have a teeenager designated as a violent sex offender for having consenual sex with their girl/boyfriend who was a younger teeenager is problematic. They’re literally destroying lives before these kids are technically even adults.
