@spiderweb1986: Remember in 2001 when MS said the Xbox would be BB only.. I remember that first line being said by a lot of people... if anything Live helped push BB penetration and forced Sony to stop ignoring it.

@roycejunktion: The answer is simple... if they price it at 20 dollars they piss off places that sell it used for 20 bucks... even though Walmart sells it new for 20 bucks. They can't sell for less than MSRP because of their other partners.

@BuckAndromeda: You're wrong.. Sony counts sell through to the retail... that's better than sell through to supplier, but it's not sell through to customers. They can't track this because places like Walmart don't give their information out. It's more like 23 million sold to customers... They aren't even selling…

Let's be honest peoploe... it still cost over 300 bucks to manufacture the console alone... this doesn't include the packaging nad shipping of the system. A 50 dollar price cut will put them back at a loss when they seem to be making a tiny profit right now... just saying
