The only thing that is being pimped is Rand... who the f' wants 3 women... Elayne is easily the only one who tried to win his heart. The pacing was SLOW when I was in my teens and early twenties, but after rereading the series up to 11 again I find that I really love the pacing

@Nicevillin: NS is more of a fighting game with an adventure mode... TBB is more of an adventure game with a fighting mode if that makes any sense

@excel_excel: I think it just covers till the same spot that TBB will finish at. To be fair TBB is made for the NA market and they are not as far along in the anime... heck even the manga just got past the time jump.
