heres my invite code for [vark.com] if you feel like joining (people who join under my link help me get a free [vark.com] t-shirt)
just got some free cards ordered. can't wait for them to come
This sounds just like aardvark, but from the screen shots and a quick visit to the site it looks like [vark.com] is laid out in a much simpler way and easier to use. it also adds the benefits of having friends that you trust answer. I didn't see if Fluther hooks into your facebook friends but that is another great…
Update:
@helfrez: I noticed that too.
most of these questions are perfect for the new question answering service Aardvark. It takes your questions and sends it to users who have the knoladge your looking for.
@Andrew Chane: I was able to add make it work with geektool and it was working while my computer was asleep.
alright boys and girls. here is the my latest and greatest geektool script.
@wickemu: not currently
This works with Geektool too.
@Gonzie: I've been trying to figure out if it is possible to get not only the number of unread items in google reader, but also get it to output a list of all the articals (titles only). any suggestions.
@Gonzie: That is fantastic. I eliminated two apps with these 2 tiny scripts.
@Gonzie: Is there any chance that this could be modified to work with gmail also. I know I could just run [Mail.app] all the time but it takes a lot less resources though geektool. (also, it would be super cool). [screencast.com] I have it so it only shows unread if needed(right below time).
@Gonzie:
@Gonzie: got an errot there. Can't Access `file://localhost/Users/Chris/[www.google.com]'
Anyone know if there is a way to get a google reader feed on there. Is there an address for public to see your rss items(and I don't want to share every item).
will try this out.
