I think another reason that Mini is having so much trouble is the reliability issues. I had one, anything goes wrong, and it is a minimum of $700 to fix. They are selling these cars as a step below BMW, but charge BMW prices to fix everything. I am much happier with my golf after getting rid of my Mini.
