Previously owned a car, no need for it now as its just too much of an expense so I subscribed to Zipcar a few years ago.
Multiple people I know (including myself) use this instead of cars. We live close enough to work that we don’t have to commute, so these services are there for when a car is needed. There are condos being built here with less/smaller parking garages because of transit and car & bike sharing.
That is probably a rarity.
Which makes me think it’s not a photo from Toronto, where it seems like every car here is a BMW.
Anything older than 10 years gets canonized here. Prior to here I didn’t know there were people who though the DS wasn’t ugly.
lol. ~760hp, all electric, seven seater with two trunks, bare minimal maintenance, numerous drivers aids and automation features, a massive touch screen, the best crash rating and the biggest issue we’re constantly hearing about is a lack of door pockets.

If it’s a warranty that’s actually enforced at BMW dealers, its a great deal. Otherwise, no.

And maybe a stock way to prevent the engine flooding issues that some people had when they shut the car off too quickly after starting it. I know some people installed turbo timers to keep the engine running for a little bit after the key was removed.
