Agreed. Its a teeth-rattling announcement to the World that you were born with a lightswitch.

It is indeed relevant, because some of the people who are most scared of automated cars (various levels of automation, ranging from staying in a lane to fully driver less) think it will be an electric carmageddon vehicle, totally disregarding how many people a year lose their lives on the road when they shouldn’t have

I think its fairly obvious that this isn’t some totally untested thing that will be tested for the first time by real-life situations - the problems that would occur from it would damage the brand heavily and they’d most likely be sued out of existence.

Would you be totally cool with an ICE car hitting you? What does being electric have anything to do with it, other than an apparent technophobia?

Yeah, I’m sure they just tested it once under one scenario and then shipped it off...you do know that they would do more considerable testing just to avoid getting sued, right?

Ryan never got as many points as he deserved.

I think this has more to do with lobbying than being local.

I’m still waiting to hear a legitimate reason why having the choice to buy from a manufacturer instead of a franchisee is a terrible, terrible thing that must be kept illegal.

I 100% agree. They were the underdogs before and got a lot of fans behind this young team, but they need to control themselves. The leadership & Yost need to get some more maturity in the clubhouse otherwise the next team they try this on is going to go after Zobrist or Hosmer instead of someone like Escobar.

Except Volquez flat out said it was intentional....

Nice try Mr. Yost.

We’re seeing hybrids everywhere now, though, especially amongst fleet vehicles and luxury cars. And all of the fastest cars in the World now have some sort of hybrid.

Relax, it’s a joke. I understand how their naming works and I really like the GCs; I’d take a 4GC over a 3 anyday and also take a 6GC over a 5.

2 door sedans exist? DO NOT show this to BMW.

Not a sport? Golf.

That was a one-off. This, on the other hand, was somehow used as the design language for an entire brand for multiple generations, and its impact is still felt....

The SRT has low sales because of the badge. If you took the RR Sport and the GC and did nothing but swap their badges, the GC would vastly outsell the RR. Most people spending that much money want to say they drive a Range Rover/Jaguar/BMW/Porsche/etc., not a Jeep.

With 0 of them going to the hordes or Jalopnik commenters who feel that eleven out of every ten Americans wants a small pickup.

I REALLY hope this gets nixed but I’m not fully confident that the group that somehow replaced the fully funded Scarborough LRT with an unnecessary subway or who doesn’t think the DRL isn’t a priority or who ignored most urban planners and went with a the hybrid option for the Gardiner will yield to common sense.
