This. Replacing Acura badges with Honda badges, etc. Some RSX owners used to replace the “RSX” door sills (IE something not visible to anyone but the person opening the door for a fraction of a second) with “INTEGRA” door sills at a cost of ~$200...
It would look so awesome if the inner part of the LEDs lined up with the inner corner of the headlight...it’d look like the LED was torn from the headlight, but as it is its not lined up which just triggers my OCD.
Exactly, I realize that many cars have “finishers” but at least have it connect to the exhaust...
Yeah, too many people here are romanticizing the past and bemoaning the changes that a lot of new cars have - I’d much rather have a heavier, more expensive to repair vehicle compared to 50 years ago because of the safety.
I agree that it shouldn’t have been Hybrid (or, Hybrid should have been an option) and they should’ve just put in a K20, I just don’t think the weight was ever a factor in sales - it was the price and lack of power combined with how much of a niche it would’ve been to begin with. If it was exactly the same vehicle but…
I don’t know about the finances but the Preds seem to have a strong fanbase.
The biggest problem with Overhaulin was that they’d spend 59 minutes on the storyline/building the car/saying how they’re going to miss their deadline, and the only time you see the finished car is right before the credits.
Yeah, you might want to check those videos out....there’s a difference between “this isn’t an off-roader” and “this says its AWD but it doesn’t seem to ever engage”.
I drove a CR-V through the mountains (well, its not THAT mountainous here, but it was in slippery wet fall conditions with the leaves everywhere) and not once did the AWD light come on. Seems inline with the videos.
And I drove a Genesis Sedan and I was very, very pleasantly surprised. If I was in the market for a new car there’s no way I’d buy a comparable (I mean comparable in price, not size, as I haven’t driven a 5 series) Audi or BMW. I drove an A4 that, with options was slightly more expensive than the Genesis and it was so…
I’m guessing most people are working from 9-5 and may not want or be able to use a weekend? I don’t see what’s unreasonable about 6PM.
I don’t see the graph on the link...what does it represent and what do the numbers mean?
[Mathieu]: I’m telling you, it’s dangerous to keep your pets in a locked, hot car.
My shop teacher always used to say when pulling a tire (to change a spare, work on brakes, etc.), always put the tire you’ve removed laying on its side anywhere underneath the rocker panel so that if the jack fails and you’re under the car, it’ll give you a little bit of clearance. Is this true? Can it actually take…
That would be quite a switch
Despite costing substantially more, the Corvette sold 11,693 from Jan-Apr; the Scion sold about 14,000 in all of 2014. Not to mention the intangible benefits that a car like a Corvette brings to the brand as a halo car.
Still seems like a better market than Tampa.
