The Apple Watch was covered tons of times on the news; how much mention was ever made about competitors already in the market?

I’m not sure anyone is doubting the ability and power of their marketing.
Yeah, we had one instance where someone was home and at the front of the house (but with their back turned to the front door) and the delivery guy snuck around him and put a “sorry we missed you slip”. Luckily he turned around right as the guy was getting back in the truck but seriously?! Ugh.
We used to have a service here where you could have it shipped to a box at a 7-11 (it’d take 1 business day more than a normal delivery because they receive the package at their facility and then ship it to the 7-11) and receive an email with a code to unlock the box at the 7-11 when it was ready for pick up FREE OF…
Wouldn’t be easier to just find a better way of delivering packages to homes?
I think what you mean is “I’m sure the free market will find a way to protect consumers via donations that allow lawmakers to enact rules to make the market more free”.
The most important question of all: Why is the logo red on the homepage?
I’d like it if it could default to “All comments” rather than the ones recommended by the author, largely because you have to click for all anyways to see the proper context in some instances.
O’s fans make BoSox fans seem tolerable to deal with, in comparison. So congrats, I guess.
Tbh it kind of makes me want to watch it more than I previously did. Maybe something is wrong with me.
4 out of every 3 stores in Toronto is a Starbucks or Tim Hortons. True story.
Where I work, there’s a Starbucks on the bottom floor, a cafe on another floor serving Starbucks coffee, a Starbucks across the street, and another one 2 buildings away.
Well, the model for the kindle is to recoup costs on book sales, which explains part of the price variance.
It’s pretty obvious that you need to get a Unimog, wrap it in chrome vinyl, and drive over the Hummer with it.
So even if you spend 5 digits on the Gold one you’re still not even in the most exclusive tier of Apple watches?
220hp? I guess Brian said he’d give a 10 second car, he meant 0-60.
Well it makes sense. It’s not like a fist fight could cause a feud to evolve into a war.
Absolutely true. It’s just annoying to read a tech site a post about Android and seeing a million comments about how crappy it is compared to Apple products, and then going to an iOS post and seeing another million comments on how Apple owners are sheep.
True, although the price is the biggest thing about (most) Chromebooks. You can get an entry level one for just about fifty dollars more than the cost of a dongle for the new MB, and a better one for the price of Applecare.
It seems like its really a new MBA, but at the same price as a much more capable and not all that massive MBP.
