Amid Audi's other Geneva Motor Show debuts, the first official photos of the electric R8 e-tron dropped this morning as well. Am I crazy for liking it a little better than the gasoline-powered R8, in terms of looks?

For people who want the depreciation of the Phaeton but none of the extra luxury frills.

Who cares about horsepower, torque, laptimes, etc. Everyone knows hp/l is the only stat that matters.

I'm not saying its the best looking car out there, but its nice to see a Bentley with a front and rear that the designers spent more then 3 minutes working on. The Bentleys for the last few years have had a GREAT side profile and interior, with dull/ugly fronts and rears.

Yeah, no German company would ever do this sort of thing....

I (and most people I know) see it as white and gold. We then all did those online colour blind tests and everyone passed, so we're confused as to how things are perceived so differently by everyone.

Nice colour, and the RX-7 rims look good on it.

I'm not talking about the photo, I'm talking about the actual dress. To me, the photo shows a white and gold dress, but the dress is in reality, black and blue.

The dress is actually blue and black, but to most people, it looks white and gold in that one specific photo taken from that camera (probably a phone).

I've always been a fan of how it looks (and the Probe), especially in that light blue colour.

Not saying that the Eyesight is necessary or not, but can't you extend that logic for almost anything?

The 2016 looks like a knock-off of the 2014.

It looks like one of those tuning companies remade and R8. If you told me it was a 2010 Mansory R8, I'd have believed it.

Totally agree. I love the rear, the sides and top look good, but the front looks awful. Like a bad GTAV design.

What's the prize for the person who finds SFMikee? :)

Yeah, they were famous for how well they'd stay level when you put them in a corner.

A McLaren just isn't a McLaren if it doesn't have those rims.

IMO this is one of the biggest problems facing Caddy; the other being that most people would rather say "I drive a BMW" than "I drive A Cadillac" and so even if the Caddy has better performance/options/pricing, people will pay a premium for the perceived better brand (although these issues are related).

I'm assuming it'd be something along the lines of "Dear Lincoln, please continue selling 4 and a half cars per month. kthxbai"

Thanks for participating in this. As an Acura owner looking at other luxury cars, I have to say that I'm pretty much only considering the german brands. For most of my life, Cadillacs were tarted-up GM cars sold to older people and at the end of the day, even with some great offerings like the CTS-V, I can't seem to
