Rutgers is in the Big Ten now and before that was in the Big-East/American Conference since 1991. They have been in an Auto-Qualifying Conference since such a thing existed. I don't think that counts as a Mid-major.

They were busted week 1 of the 2007 season. They went on to win 17 more games that season alone. They have been to 4 AFC championship games and 2 Super Bowls since being busted for recording their opponents. They've won plenty of things since then, just not any Super Bowls. There are 25 other teams that have not won

I don't own a 3DS. I am actually considering buying the new one because they finally included a second stick on the device (and not on a ridiculous, barely-available, barely-supported peripheral).

Why does she say Alaska then? Any ideas?

No one is comparing it to slavery. No one is saying that LGBT people have suffered the same injustices as African Americans. All people are saying is that there are some similarities between the civil rights struggles of African Americans with the civil rights struggles of LGBT people.

Is it just me or does that extra "C-stick" look more like one of those little nubs that was on laptop keyboards about a decade ago that they stopped making because everyone hated them rather than an actual analog stick?

I thought you were exaggerating, then I looked up his numbers: 91 AB, 41 SO

Counterpoint: if it takes someone's dad being treated for leukemia in order for you to speak to them respectfully and politely, doesn't that kind of point to being a douchebag?

Yeah, I'm not necessarily blaming you, but whoever made this particular image in the first place got it wrong.

Geno Auriemma has gone on record saying in order for the quality of the women's game to approach that of the men's game they should consider lowering the rims. http://espn.go.com/womens-college…

Man it's a pet peeve of mine when people make movie quotes and get the quote wrong. The actual quote is "I'm not even mad, that's amazing."

Most women probably grow up using the same ball as their male counterparts outside of official competition, the issue is not whether they can handle it, it's does the greater grip afforded by a smaller ball contribute to better control of the ball and thus a better game.

Do you have any sources that illustrate that? If that's the case, it's definitely interesting.

I did a quick google search and everything I'm seeing indicates that NCAA Women's Basketball uses the same size ball as the WNBA.
And women do have smaller hands in the WNBA compared to the NBA. The average height of a WNBA player is about 5'11" vs 6'7" in the NBA. (I couldn't find any information about hand size,

Serious question here. I've heard it said multiple times that little leaguers should never throw breaking pitches because it puts too much strain on their not-yet-fully-developed arms and the ones that do rely on breaking balls typically never amount to much once they get older because they've already done irreparable

Nope, but neither will I start calling a DE in coverage a LB.

Last I checked, the 3-4 defense still calls them Linebackers, not defensive linemen.
You do know that 3-4 defense means 3 linemen, 4 linebackers, right? Thanks for proving my point.

Thank you for proving my analogy is a good one. No one said there was no overlap in responsibilities or characteristics between assault rifles and machine guns. You can put a heavier barrel and a drum magazine on a rifle and have it function as a light machine gun.

Oh, I'm no gun nut. I'm a self-identified, pro-gun-control liberal who has never fired an actual gun in my life.

Oh, I'll fully admit to being pedantic.
