If you’re going to have a shower, a registry is honestly a good idea. Otherwise you get ten thousand fancy booties and dry-clean-only baby dresses.

This. It infuriates me they have these ornate showers for for a 2nd, 3rd, etc. kid. If they had simply donated what they spent to a womans shelter they would probably keep it in diapers and baby food for a year.

I have never heard of anyone having multiple showers outside of celebrities. You get one. ONE. The optimist in me imagines that celebrities having multiple showers like this aren’t doing gift registries; it’s just more of a celebration.
