The only possible reason that I could think of is that women have to do more errands and driving the kids to and from where the kids need to go, and that involves more traffic and possible chances for an accident. But, since the data does not mention more crashes it is probably just sexism.

Not a parent, but scheduling an emergency appointment with the dentist with the kid as is ( unbrushed teeth) might do the trick. If the kids gaslight - then subject them to the Marathon Man treatment. A dentist will get the truth out of anybody.
