I remember looking up his politics and being a little worried beforehand, but it makes sense that having spent so much time in other countries—appreciating them, studying them, and consciously trying to keep an open mind about their customs, traditions, and values—his political views are at least somewhat liberal.

It’s obviously made up. Far too many convenient details that are pretty far-fetched when you stop and think about them. But still fairly entertaining.

It’s 100% fake. Pretty bummed they led with that one on this year’s post. Still, I love these, and on balance the stories are great and believable (even though I have, unfortunately, come to the conclusion that ghosts aren’t real, as much as I want them to be).
