Loved it for so many reasons. Seriously it was so classic. We’ve been waiting for this part of arc to move forward and it finally has. Also, I was waiting for Monica to show up. Glad she finally did and in a true-to-life kind of way.

The only real problem I had was the fact that the episode seemed rushed, and could easily have taken up two episodes of the mini. All the various other complaints make it seem like everyone forgot what The X-Files was like.

My favorite era of The X-Files was when the internet wasn’t as widespread so everyone couldn’t publicly bitch and moan about literally everything. The show hasn’t changed much, the internet has.

The speed with which Scully was able to connect the dots was unbelievable (as in, really not believable). Perhaps not as unbelievable as the speed with which she was able to single-handedly manufacture a cure to a disease/condition affecting the entire world in the basement of some hospital.
