Could not agree more. My family was surprised to hear me talk about all the beautiful people I met while I was there. And it’s not just their looks, their attitudes and general outlook on life just makes them such beautiful people all around. I was in awe of them.

I think that’s really important actually because what about the kids whose parents can’t afford a bunch of really big expensive things? They end up wondering why Santa didn’t bring them something spectacular. If we do big things from the parents and not Santa then no one’s feelings end up being hurt.

Same. I like recieving the traditional cards, too. I repurpose them and use the pictures as name tags the next year when I wrap gifts. I never know what to do with all those photo cards. I feel bad throwing them away but I hate having them clutter up my house. It’s frustrating.
