Had you bothered to read the Wiki, you’d know they source their claims by linking to the party’s platform, which is about as objective as you can get for someone who doesn’t read Japanese.

I think that’s a really ignorant viewpoint from somebody that literally knows nothing about Japanese politics and just assumes that Liberal Democrats mean the same thing in Japan as they do in the US.

There is no such thing as “normal” curating. Real life is messy and the vast majority (if not all) of the people who are “liked” on FB are people who post overwhelmingly positive, uplifting things that do not in any way resemble their real everyday life.

Or they post positive things for the same reason that everyone else on Facebook does: it’s not a medium to share negative personal news or a medium where the travaials of real life is shared. Those who commit this faux pas are accused of being drama queens.
