She has called herself a feminist for a long time. She absolutely has not been an activist for a long time. So yeah, it’s definitely a branding move for someone who puts her own thirst for fame and attention above all things. Her desire to bash other women because they didn’t agree with her homophobic sense of humor,

this is what happens when someone is so desperate to stay in the spotlight they try to brand themselves as a feminist and activist.

I mean, technically Mario 2 wasn’t actually a Mario game. Only in the West was it rebranded as such. The real Mario 2 was actually more or less the same game as the first one but with different levels, called Lost Levels in the US.

Somebody always pops up to say this, and that somebody is almost always wrong. Copyright does not require any sort of affirmative defense in any way shape or form. It can be enforced as narrowly and selectively as one likes, so there is no compulsion for EA to stop the distribution of the code here. Trademark (which

Just goes to show that EA doesn’t care about their games or their players.

I think it’s hilarious that people bring up Mario 3D World in that aspect yet ignore that the plot of the game is still Bowser kidnapping princesses and you rescuing them. Because it’s apparently OK if Bowser kidnaps other, non-humanoid women, but Peach is off-limits now.

Complaining about Peach being kidnapped is like complaining water is wet.

I think we will always have Peach being kidnapped because that is part of what makes up a Mario game. Nintendo probably thinks that whenever they release a new Mario game that it is someone’s first game, and they want the core aspects to be intact. I don’t think it’s becauase they have run out of better ideas for how

The thing is, it’s never really fair to blame a single instance of a trope for being part of a trope - particularly when that’s part of continuity with a game that’s 30 years old.

OMG peached got kidnapped again we better get the pitchforks out and hang nintendo for using a damsel in distress trope.

Chasing Bowser and rescuing Peach is like the one non-negotiable aspect of what makes a Mario game a Mario game. It’s like saying a Mario game is stuck in the past because it takes place in a magical land of coins and stars.

GODDAMNIT, Kazuyuki!

Why would you spend that much time playing a boring game? Do you just hate yourself or something?

How is that a dick move? He did work for a company, got paid, used that to start his own company. Literally not seeing issue with that at all.

Kojima created his studio after he got booted from Konami, though.

we already have 10 reasons......................

You’re the kind of guy who reads Trump’s Twitter and says “Wow, so that’s the real and unshaken proof of the world? Amazing!” and then runs out and tells everyone.

That you choose to believe it is totally up to you, but it’s not proof. And given that the person is speaking on behalf of a for-profit company with no motivation to tell their customer base something they don’t want to hear, there is no good reason to believe that statement.

No. But previous GTA games have all received robust single-player expansions and GTAV has only seen multiplayer additions. The game has a huge map that could really benefit from more single-player content.
