It would better with a gas engine and a 200 mile range. I imagine that wouldn’t affect the price terribly much. Might even make it lighter.

I have a pair of the Sony’s (the last model) I like the touch controls on the ear. I use them to watch TV at home as well. My only complaint is I have to be careful how I lay my head on a pillow because it will activate the “listening” feature on the right cup.

If I travel 10 miles in the opposite direction of said “urban area” from my home I can typically save .05-.15/ gallon. The gas station is locally owned. So sometimes (once a month maybe)…
