I would be happy to never see tatooine again.

Sorry! I’m too used to people making those points from a stance of complete trust in government systems.

By any reasonable metric surely ice are already ‘trafficking’ kids, what with all the reports of sexual abuse and forced surgery in the concentration camps that people are being rounded up in for no reason?

That would probably be a good change considering the massive ecological upheaval, but since there arent native primates in the US it might also be tricky to convey the severity? Tho that could be a good reveal a few episodes in

Yeah honestly for a tv movie from 2005 it was good, and there were some genuinely affecting moments. To be fair to Carpenter he’s not done much in 25 years at all, especially since that episode.

Best case scenario is really that they don’t give enough of a shit about him to have any part in raising him at all, and his half-siblings resent how he’s the only one that got out of this with any semblance of a positive reputation among normal people, so don’t want anything to do with him either.

I have never, never, NEVER, NEVER

I watched my first last night coincidentally, and it was Cigarette Burns, and it was fine. Norman Reedus was terrible in it, and they should have held off on any footage of the movie, because even something much better would inherently fail to capture what it was built up as.

The Nemesis system was really innovative, and I’m honestly surprised it didn’t make more of an impact on other games. the most recent Assassin’s Creed is the only game I’ve played since that tried to replicate the system, and none have really improved on it. It was procedural generation done right.

There’s a video of him performing it in studio, and it’s amazing to see about a dozen other guests sat around in awe like he’s The Comedian’s Comedian

the other problem with Fillion is he’s a TV actor first and foremost. He’s never seriously moved beyond that give or take a Slither or TV adaptation.

Quibi has to have been a scam man. It actually launched in my country, and they deliberately didn’t advertise it at all. I asked a few of my friends last night if they’d ever heard of it, not one had.

This is one situation I can’t really blame Netflix for cancelling too soon. They had actors, writers and crew contracted for a final season, and weren’t able to film it. A lot of people involved will have had work lined up elsewhere, so rescheduling an entire season of production for next year would become unfeasible.

I don’t expect it to be ‘green paint’ in the 70s Hulk vein, there’s a lot of room for maneuver  between ‘full cgi character’ and the stuff they could do on a high end TV budget with an actor on set. SFX has come a long way, it’s perfectly possible to use both prosthetics/make up and CGI together. Nothing about that’s

I mean it would only be more CGI if they have a full CGI She-Hulk, which wouldn’t necessarily have to be the case considering unlike regular Hulk, she essentially looks like a normal person except green and big. Having a full CGI main character would be a pretty big ask for a TV budget, even something with the Marvel

It’s such a bizarre quote. Did he come out a radical left-wing prison abolitionist? That feels like the only logical read of it, but also the guy’s so odd I don’t really think its what he means.

I dunno, since she generally stays in she-hulk form it just makes sense to me to get someone who’s believably that stature so every shot isn’t some forced perspective or VFX.

Some things are evergreen in fairness

It’s weird she calls it “a press release that’s gotten out of hand”, not a rumour or premature announcement or whatever. I’d take this with a grain of salt just like the original story. When she says it’s not a thing she could mean that there’s no plans to start production or make anything official right now because
