Blank it.

It’s an acronym that’s evolved beyond its original usage into shorthand for a type of actively transphobic person, that’s just how language works sometimes, and you’re not achieving anything by arguing otherwise. I also don’t think its the best way of referring to these people, frankly I preferred

Oh sorry I thought I was replying to someone participating in a good faith discussion, not a condescending pedant. You asked for examples, I gave you some off the dome. That wasn’t some sarcastic gotcha, so I dunno what your fucking problem is lol.

JK Rowling, Graham Linehan, Julie Bindel, Germaine Greer, Julie Burchill, Hadley Freeman, Suzanne Moore. Those are just off the top of my head.

Its funny how all her characters in these later books still sound like wizards from HP.

Is he? Seems more like an insufferable ‘both sides’ asshole, but on the republican side. Still a piece of shit, but he seems to stay pretty hands off with politics publicly and just to bipartisan shit, like the West Wing reunion.

All you need to know about Webber is contained in this paragraph:

It might sound melodramatic aye, but there is a real danger of these games becoming lost. That’s part of the reason emulation is important in keeping these games available. Game carts, discs and systems won’t be around forever. They get corroded or broken and just stop working. I’m a big proponent of emulation to save

It was removed from storefronts and couldn’t be bought. It could be redownloaded, but for anyone who didn’t buy it at the time, or have access to their account from the time, or have a working ps3/360 it wasn’t available.

I don’t think 2 months is nothing, but it’s definitely enough time for 2 people to come up with a serviceable star wars script and the basis of a trilogy. This is a very established setting with an existing jumping off point, and mountains of expanded universe stuff to play with should they wish. It’s frankly not

There was no “mystery box” in TFA really. It was a straightforward movie with even the loose ends pretty easy to continue building on. There was some sloppiness and missed opportunities, but no grand mystery beyond not finding out the origins or intentions of some characters, which is pretty normal in a story planned

Abrams and Kasdan had a couple of months to develop the script for TFA.

I noticed they recently added a little button to remove anything that isn't 'free to me' from the front page which is extremely useful.

It was real bad. The series had a lot of potential but seems to throw away any good will constantly. Wasting Jason Isaacs and Michelle Yeoh, both of whom had the potential to be excellent captains, taking a cast of really good actors and giving them largely unlikable and underused characters. A continuity breaking

Seems like they want to have their cake and eat it by removing the show from the pre-TOS era continuity that has essentially plagued it since day one, but also continuing to be about the Federation and retread existing territory.

It would both make more sense and be better if he were playing Rex/another old clone. At the time of Mandalorian Boba Fett is 40 years old, and he’s dead.

The asshole popular kid is a cliche that is hard to shake, and definitely isn’t uncommon, especially paired with the english public schoolboy trope they were playing with, but its also true that some people are popular in part cause they’re really nice and caring.

I quite like how he toes the line between ‘public schoolboy you love to hate’ and ‘genuinely nice dude’, especially in this movie.

at least they cut out the subplot with hermione trying to end slavery and everyone mocking her naive student activism, because Rowling created a world where slavery is morally okay to the point our hero inherits a slave and doesn’t bother setting him free.
