Yeah I never got onto the hour long ones but it seemed to be a mistake. I’ll give you that with the 20 min episodes, sometimes its very clear a premise was better suited to a several-page short story, but overall they didn’t drag, both compared to other TV from the day and the new bloated eps.

Half of these are for either sketch shows, or in Scrubs/30 rocks case shows that relied heavily on non-sequitur cutaway gags that could easily be edited out. I wouldn’t have a problem with editing out a sketch or joke that doesn’t affect the rest of the episode in the slightest. 

Definitely could have been tightened up a bit in a second season, I forgave a lot of its flaws cause it was trashy in a fun way. 

Still hoping they bring back The Final Table, a show that apparently only me and my partner loved.
