I agree. Or even other children or unvaccinated adults. Part of the problem antivaxxers have conceptually is that the vaccine isn’t just protecting “you” from others, it’s also protecting others from you. If you (the general “you”, not the poster jeff4066 here specifically) contract a disease, and for some odd reason

I heard ant-vaxx people frame it as personal choice. They say they should be able to do what they want with their lives. That’s it’s their choice and their risk and the rest of us can do what we want. But it’s not their lives as it’s almost always about the lives of their kids and it’s just risking their kids safety.

I think this is the main reason for the whole anti-vaxx movement. Young parents simply don’t “believe” in things like measles and the terrible, long term, consequences it can cause simply because they have never seen it.

When my kids were in prime vaccinating age, the anti-vaxxing was really hitting it’s stride. It got me very worried about what I was putting into my kids. I thought about holding them out.

Anyone who doesn’t vaccinate their children should be tried for child abuse; it’s just as dangerous, if not more so, than the parents who beat their children or mistreat them in other ways — more so, because it also endangers other children who interact with them.

It is not the anti-vaxx fools I’m sorry for, it is their children. My Parents made sure I had every shot I could get as a child, because one of my Grandparents had one of these diseases.

It’s a public safety issue. The same way we require people to take a driving test before operating a machine that can kill dozens of people on a whim, we should mandate that people get vaccinated against things like Polio (assuming they can) that could potentially kills thousands. It drives me nuts that people still

“But parents today have no idea what polio was like, so it’s hard to convince somebody that lives are at risk if they don’t vaccinate.”

When did they find time to make a great sequel between all the terrible Cars movies?

...honestly, after a decade of that meme, I want every single character in the Incredibles 2 to be fully decked out in capes.

Cool! Can’t wait to see it. I also have several months to decide on what kind of outfit to see it.

It was pretty obvious they couldn’t see him using his powers. They knew something was going on hence the comment but not that Jack Jack was behind the something.

He is.

YES Darling. YES!

Please tell me Brad Bird is behind this, too. It just won’t be the same without him.

And Santa knows what a good boy you have been.

White Jesus salutes you, Bobby.

Kate’s face was everything.
