That's one of my favorite parts of the books. Gender-equal craziness, everyone is a spectacle for consumption.

I think it was like three episodes? That "you're not a 'better woman' than me just because I like glitter and skirts" conversation they had was fucking epic and insightful, for being a silly comedy show. I loved it. I love them both.
I actually loved the way the two of them fought it out on New Girl. I felt like it was one of the most feminist conversations I've ever seen on TV.
Hey! It was three and a HALF cigarettes!!! That's why it was terrible!!!11!!!!!$1!
That op-ed is actually what got me to start watching. "Two guys cooking meth" wasn't compelling but "two sisters coping with their husbands and the increasingly poor choices one of them makes" sounded way better.
Thanks for understanding...I only started watching Breaking Bad last week (I know, I know, live under a rock) and it is pissing me right off because watching her go through all of that one episode after another and NOT BREAK DOWN UNTIL SEASON FIVE. Like, I would have been putting out cigarettes on Walt's face in his…
Ok, first of all: "The only reason they're not together now is because she didn't want to be" is a perfectly valid reason not to be together...if one person isn't consenting, there's no relationship there. So...no.
...why would you be mad about Robin?
OP mentioned iPhone, which is what I was referencing. Sorry for any confusion.
As I said further down the thread: I'm not sure if it was just my phone or what, but mine did this automatically.
Unless I'm mistaken, it's default enabled. I gave myself a heart attack when I pulled my phone out of my bag once and discovered it had inverted. Took me a few weeks to realize I'd likely triple-clicked it without realizing.
If you don't want to go poking around a lot, just hit the home button three times rapidly and it will invert. Surprised how many people don't know about this.
Don't watch the other videos on this YouTube channel, then. Especially not Tails of Hope stuff, you will be at a shelter in 20 minutes with no recollection of how you got there.
a) OMG YES
I'm from Chicago and I was 16 when it happened, so enough of my friends were of age that it was scary to watch them think about (and eventually) enlisting. That whole time was such a tangle that I'm just awed when I look back at it. The sheer enormity of the emotion is staggering.
