Thanks for commenting this. I feel insane sometimes thinking that way about the game. There is a lot to like about BOTW and those mechanics aren’t inherently bad, but they are not implemented in an enjoyable way in this game. The crafting is okayish, and the fetch-questy stuff can be fine, but the weapon durability…

The latter half of that game really forgets to reward players with anything meaningful. Weapons and rewards get no stronger and enemies only get spongier as the background math goes up.

You gotta admit it really set the standard for... uh... well the world is... no... I mean the weapons... hm... if you find 900+ koroks you get a bad hat?
