A server needs 3k people with no layering to be full by Blizz’s standards(they’re removing layering before phase 2 launches). The biggest servers right now have 40 to 50k people... Even with significant drop there will still be more than enough people to keep every server full and then some.

Buy? the amount of server hardware you need for this game is incredibly minimal, and it’s running on the retail client, they already had the infrastructure, they aren’t some startup.

Blizz has fumbled this shit so bad it’s not even comical. They keep opening realms like that’s going to do anything at this point. Character transfers so entire guilds can coordinate moves is what needs to happen. Asking players to forfeit game time and sub time is stupid.

With being 15 years removed all the ways to efficiently do things have been found out, plus the internet is a whole different thing than it was in 2006. I’ve played pservers over the years, and was in the beta for classic and it is not this mega hard grindfest that we all like to remember it as.
