I always willfully circumvent FB’s ads. And it will never be considered illegal for me to do so. If it is, then they’ll have to kill me and manipulate my cold, dead fingers in order to make me undo it. Why, you might ask?

I only recently started blocking ads because they contain too much malware. And even if they don’t have that, they contain so many scripts and garbage that it slows down my computer. If the advertisers would learn to make simpler ads that were not so intrusive and keep the malware out of it, I’d go back to showing ads.
Do you even marketing bro? Joker was all over those Suicide Squad posters but wasn’t a major player in the movie. Also worth noting Matt Damon only seems prominent in western advertising. But you’re also being a dick. Why black and white. So I’m saying the director says he’s not the main character and your response is…
I think The Last Samurai was just a sobstuff version of Shogun, which was somewhat based on the real story of an Englishman, who went to Japan and became an influential Samurai. There were in fact a number of foreign-born Samurai in Japan’s history. I know, the article is about China, but that trope is founded on a…
Thanks for that whitesplaining. I’ll copy your comment and email it to the Chinese director and primarily Chinese cast. They’ll be grateful that you saved them from their internalized racism.
Oh sorry, wasn’t aware you had access to the script and know Matt Damon’s role so well. So lucky for us that you posted all your links to your information sources. Or maybe according to the director, Matt is one of several heroes and the story is about their collective journey. Wtf am I thinking listening to the…
Where did you get the advance copy of the film, or are just making a lot of assumptioms?
Ah, good old fashioned racism!
How do they know they only find 1 in 10? Think about that for a bit.
They require no electricity but work on their own,” the church’s mission director Christian Åkerhielm told Swedish TV broadcaster SVT.
I do understand that the trackers were likely putting some major stresses on their servers, but that chart. That chart with no scale. No scale or labels or anything.
I’d opt in for the no privacy service, and set up my router to route everything through a VPN, I’m sure the cost difference is about equal, and I’d rather trust that the VPN is not selling my data, than crimecast.
io9 is total Marvel fanboys, man. They crap all over DC and it’s a conspiracy.
“we’ve sent out spacecraft deep into the reaches of our galaxy”
You could still do that if the tracking system worked though. Nothing stopping you from playing it in the style that you prefer. But for people who don’t like to do that, the current state of tracking seems to be a real problem.
Except the devs have had a ton of time to explain what they are going to do and instead say, “fuck pokevision because they are doing our jobs better than we can.” Everyone should get a refund until the game works properly. Don’t release a game that is so broken you can’t do the ONE thing that is core to the game…
Not really. There are two major flaws in your reasoning. In your example, that hardworking person no longer has a laptop, when the thief stole it.
When a pirate streams a movie, they are not depriving anyone of property.
Second, is the inherent assumption that the pirate would have paid for the movie if the…
“These users are using data amounts well in excess of our largest plan size”
Ummmm. Bullshit. It is called an unlimited plan, you sold it on a contract, and promised that it would ALWAYS be unlimited.
And you think reporting on a fact is the equivalent of distributing illegal content? Seriously now? Thats what you’re going with as a argument?
So are they posting the torrent files or are users? If users are, then my point still stands. I’m pretty sure it’s just set up as a platform and only individual users are the ones actually breaking copyright law.
