*Someone makes an Augmented Reality game that incentivizes people to go outside*

Or they just don’t let the word have power over them. I personally find it rather silly when someone lets a word have such a detrimental effect on their person. Having been bullied for most of my public schooling, I have formed a rather thick skin to that kind of stuff.

And someone calling white person a Cracker, Red Neck, Hick, Limey, Peckerwood, White Trash, etc. isn’t? Again, it is subjective.

Societal or individual, it is still subjective. Following your logic, Asian Americans are the most privileged race in America. And words only have power over you if you let them. It is still subjective.

Whatever helps you sleep at night.

Racism is about race, not power. But if you really want to go down that route, could a homeless white person never be racist against a rich black politician? That’s the flaw in that logic, who has the power is completely subjective.

I don’t believe I ever said I was offended. In fact I said that I really don’t care. But people who do get offended easily should consider the hypocrisy of their actions when the shoe is on the other foot.

And how does that change the fact that the problem is still with poverty and not race? Regardless of how demographics got they way they are, the problem is still with poverty. Solve the problem of poverty and you solve the disparities in the demographics.

That’s more or less a problem with poverty than racism. While I would agree that black people are more likely to live in poorer neighboorhoods, focusing on race is the wrong way to fix problems that affect the poor regardless of race.

No one alive today has ever been a slave or owned a slave in America. Everyone has equal rights by law regardless of their race. Quoting history is a moot point as white people have also been slaves if you go back far enough in history. All of which is completely meaningless as there is still no justifiable reason to

Can you imagine the uproar if a show called “Dear Black People” was created where the trailer shows a condescending view towards black people? Kinda puts the whole thing in perspective when you think about it. Not that I really care either way, just pointing out why people might find it offensive.

It’s still a document with no proof. And while it isn’t a something a high school kid could make up, it certainly is something a person in a position of power could make up to smear Trump. In the end, without any proof, it is still just a rumor. I’d much rather news organizations reported on stuff that could be proven

I dunno, I’d like to think that most creditable news organizations would want to have at least two different sources to validate a news story. Otherwise you could have people sending in false flag news stories all the time. And if spreading an uncorroborated rumor isn’t fake news, then I and no one else in the world

So if someone was to write a document about how the moon landing was faked and then started spreading the document around members of Congress, then does that make it news worthy and not “fake news”? Until there is actual proof, this is just a rumor written on a piece of paper.

You can use that exact same logic for all the “fake news” that came out during the election. You could use that reasoning to justify reports on conspiracy theories or any of the information coming out of radical news organizations that are probably lying out of their ass. Left wing journalists can’t have it both

With the music playing in the background of that video, I was half expecting an astronaut walking down a fashion runway. I ended up being disappointed.

If they can’t confirm the information, then there is no point in posting about it. This is just like if a major news organization decided to take the Pizzagate conspiracy seriously even though the evidence for it is slim to none at best. What Buzzfeed did was basically the exact same things that were happening during

I prefer when media tells me the truth and provides proof rather than spreading rumors for views.

Buzzfeed spreads a rumor they know they can’t confirm, and then justify their actions by saying “we wanted to let the people decide”. That is probably the least honest thing they could have done, and they did it cause they knew it would get them views. Not because they believed it was their journalistic duty to spread
