They aren’t changing the Xbox One’s software with every upgrade (at least I hope they aren’t), they are just upgrading the hardware. You don’t change your OS every time you upgrade your video card unless that OS is so old that it won’t allow you to use the newer video cards.

Yeah, but the prompt popping up consistently at the most inopportune times is Microsoft’s fault. I wouldn’t be surprised if people accidentally hit yes while slamming their fists into their keyboards and screaming bloody murder at Microsoft for not taking no for an answer.

$5 says Fox News now makes a story about how Overwatch is a sex simulator. Given their past journalistic integrity, I’m sure they will do thorough research on the subject and provide us an unbiased story.

This might just be me, but isn’t tying DRM to a specific VR headset kinda like trying to make a game exclusive to a specific brand of monitor? They aren’t making a stand alone video game system, they are providing a peripheral for VR experiences.

It doesn’t have to be an exact copy of Thomas the Tank Engine, it just has to be something that somewhat resembles it and fits within the game’s lore. Like adding in a sentient murder train with a super creepy face on the front that kinda resembles Thomas’ face.

Thomas the Tank Engine is so synonymous with Bethesda games now that I wouldn’t be surprised if the developers started throwing it into future games as a hard to find easter egg.

There needs to be a multiplayer version of this. The one thing me and my other XCOM friends desperately want is a co-op mode for the game.

It would be nice if they added rewards on top of those mutators. Like completing a mutator on a certain difficulty will grant you a profile picture or a unit skin.

Funny, the video makes no mention of the death penalty getting reduced for repeated deaths in a short period. In fact, they said that the death penalty gets longer the older your character is and that each game death reduces your character’s overall lifespan.

It sounds like a neat idea, but the big problem it is going to face is that no casual player will want to pick it up. This is like ultra hardcore mode where if you screw up too many times, you loose the ability to play the game faster then everyone else. That seems like a little to much pressure to keep an ongoing

This looks like it should be a special mode for Besiege. The graphics and physics look very similar.

I remember that BL2 glitch. It kinda ruined the game for me when I entered someone else’s game and they were dropping all the top tier gear and continuously opening the golden chest over and over again for an hour.

I think the real problem is that to fix any of the issues the game currently has, they would have to go back to the drawing board and completely revamp the systems currently in place. People looking for exploits to skip boring gameplay is a symptom, not the problem.

Think of it this way, that is several hours of you not doing something fun in the game. It doesn’t matter if you can do it while AFK or not, it’s still several hours not playing anything fun in the game. And if people can complete it while AFK, what is even the point in having it in the game in the first place?

Criticizing a game based on whether its character selection is diverse enough is a terrible way judge a game. It does nothing to help in make the game play or story better, and only serves to rile up the PC crowd to crucify anyone that doesn’t bend to their will.

Because there are people villainizing games and their creators for not providing a skin tone of preference, and it is sickening to see people do that to potentially good games. They could have made all the characters in the game black or hispanic, and I would not care as long as the game play and story were good. And

There is a difference between a game where you make a character and one where the characters are created with their own background and story in mind. One involves building your own story and the other involves experiencing someone else’s story. And from what I’ve seen about The Wild Eight, this seems to be the latter

What I am against are the crusades against games and their creators because a character doesn’t have someone’s preferred skin tone. Game developers shouldn’t have to change their games to meet your preferred sensibilities.

And yet you chose to focus on a character’s skin tone over what really matters in a video game. Changing a character’s skin tone to a different color doesn’t suddenly turn a bad game into a good one or vise versa. Bringing up skin tone serves no purpose other then for someone to push their own agenda on everyone else.

If you are more concerned about a character’s skin tone then a good story and game play, then maybe this form of media isn’t for you. People who complain about that stuff are more concerned about pushing their own personal agendas then actually caring about the medium.
