Here’s my takeaway from that anecdote: life is a series of choices. When we make a choice we simultaneously reject another choice. The woman stated that she regrets she can’t raise her child but “must” work outside her home. There’s no “must” about it. She chooses to pay someone else to raise her child to appease her

Is this signature saved as a layer of some kind on top of the existing PDF or as a new PDF when it’s sent off? It matters to some of the people that I’ve interacted with via signed PDFs. Currently I’m using Skitch to handle this.

Ironically, my wife’s lower half is stretched to the point that the reverse throw is the only thing that WILL get it off anymore.

I have something of a feeling that the process has something to do with the murderbot that almost killed everyone plus time to reflect on things.

You mean users are finally starting to catch on that they don’t need to upgrade their iPhones when Apple releases a spec bump every year?!

These are not the 72 virgins they were expecting.

I did learn a while back that — even when I feel I’ve played terribly — I have no idea what effect the music had on the listeners. They may honestly have had a transformative, cathartic experience, and it’s arrogant of us to discount that. After I learned that, I began to really hear these compliments as genuine,

Why do android users always have to read and comment negatively on an iPhone post? It boggles my mind. I never read an android post because I'm just not interested, and certainly not enough to comment on the post. Why do you care that someone uses/likes something that you don't?

Sepp Blatter is my favorite evil villain of all time. You could argue that he’s resigning because the walls are closing in quickly. OR you could say that he ran for reelection, won and then quit within a week because fuck it, why not?

Sepp Blatter’s I-Don’t-Give-A-Fuck levels are off the meter. In the inevitable movie
