I loved the Advantix system. The photo size options were great and the camera I had took great photos. I also loved the fact you could easily tell how much film was left and if the roll had been fully used. I didn’t like them as much when I worked in the photo department at Target for a while. Those cartridges (and

I know I’m going to get flamed for this....

I have had this problem. Gifs on the first page of comments work, but when I try to load additional comments the gifs go still. If I click the little magnifier in the upper left corner they work when they blow up, but not on the main site. I’m using Firefox.

A bit off topic, but has anyone else gotten frustrated with the “let’s put sriracha in everything!” tactic food companies have been using lately? I absolutely love spicy foods, but I also have severe acid reflux. I have to be very careful about what I eat to avoid acid attacks. I’ve basically given up spicy foods (I

Flesh & Bone was a very dark story based in the world of ballet with a very, very damaged main character. It’s only eight episodes and gets more fucked up as it goes along. Prostitution, drugs, severe abuse between siblings, it is a no holds barred story. The PR push made it seem like a more realistic Center Stage but

she doesn’t believe in anyone using catnip

I also work in a bookstore. Instead of the traditional bookstore cat, we have a bookstore turtle. She’s very popular with our younger (and even some of our adult) visitors and is extremely friendly. A regular “customer” routinely tells us that we shouldn’t have a pet turtle and that she deserves to live in the wild.

I looked at the locations of Cafe Gratitude and was surprised to see the only location outside of California is in Kansas City. The message the cafe intends fits KC, but in a city known for beef and bar-be-que it seems a bit odd.

This is the Temple in Independence, Mo, which is claimed to be the location of the Garden of Eden by Joesph Smith.

I am going to thoroughly vet any surgeon or doctor I see after this shitshow. I thought it was outrageous that ten years ago I was upset before a simple outpatient surgery when a Chaplin showed up in my room despite an explicit request for their absence. And he wasn’t even the one performing my surgery.

I do not enjoy Christmas (except for the excuse to bake an overwhelming amount of desserts). And I’m not a huge fan of the Coca-Cola Santa. But if Coke dares to take away my winter polar bears there will be consequences! The polar bears are awesome because they usually do not represent any religion or specific holiday

They are also the number one selling cookie in the US during the first quarter of the year.

I made a trip to Oregon several years ago with my ex thinking we would be moving there. We road tripped from Missouri in Feburary. We ran into a blizzard on I-90 that closed the interstate so we decided to buy some high quality snow chains just to be safe. We bought them at a Walmart in Montana if I remember

I always thought Amy Schumer would be a great Magneta. But she could be a good Janet.

I had never thought of Chris Pratt as Rocky. I had considered Zac Efron, Channing Tatum, and Chris Hemsworth, but not Pratt. He’s a much better fit and has the physical comedy chops and facial expression ability needed for Rocky.

If I were to present my father with a “certificate of virginity” at my wedding, he would kick my ass (edit: figuratively) and probably request the wedding be postponed or called off entirely. I guess my parents are pretty sex positive because I was taught that you need to live with and have sex with a prospective

I really hope Sia goes all Sinead O’Connor on Trump. And/Or the audience. It is live (with a delay). Such a public shaming might just give Trump the kick in the ass he needs to dro..... Oh, yeah, this is Trump we are talking about.

I work at an indie bookstore and some days this is my job. We have some older regular customers who don’t understand the series of tubes that is the internet that like to use us as their personal Google. I’ve had calls ranging from the correct spelling of a word to seeking a diagnosis for a health problem. There are

My bank still reimburses me for ATM fees from ATMs that are owned by another bank. It’s not automatic, I have to call or drop by a branch with the ATM receipt. This is nice when you get stuck somewhere that only accpets cash and the only ATM in 20 miles is their private one that charges a $15 fee.
