Oh, a pair of MG B’s in an MGB.
I don’t believe it. I KNOW it is street legal. I follow this type of racing religiously and I saw this car with my own eyes. It’s even plated and registered in Illinois, where AMS is located.
Yes, it’s almost seven seconds, but it’s in the six-second range, and I’d like to see you do better.
Poorly modified cars suck. Correctly modified cars can be SO much better than stock. The issue is that to properly modify a car you have to spend quite a bit more money than to do it the crappy way.
Yeah, I’m just gonna point out that the biker was %100 at fault here. Everybody involved screwed up, and like you said, we hope he’s OK after this...but it’s pretty plain to see that the biker was driving way too fast for what he was doing.
And thinking of cars as simply “rapidly depreciating assets” is also dumb. In exchange for the depreciation, you get very valuable transportation.
Financing in and of itself is not a gimmick, or dumb.
Actually, I really like it. I get so tired of the boring colors we have for options in cars now. Unless your buying a performance car, it’s hard to find a car that is not some boring neutral shade inside and out.
Mitsubishi
Indeed. My take on it is “you get what you pay for, to a point” There is a point of diminishing returns at which you’re better off saving some cash, unless there’s some must have thing that’s only available with the pricier product.
It gives those tools/items character. I have recently changed my motto to quality over quanity and really try to buy the nicest thing that I can afford when looking for something. I want to buy something once, not have some buy/break/buy again cycle, that just sucks. Granted there is a price point where quality turns…
Not sure why, but I always get a happy feeling inside whenever I see something that’s built to last. Old machinery made of cast iron, stringed instruments that are over a century old and still played, high-quality tools handed down through generations, stuff like that.
That’s where they can be driven, but don’t be surprised if they drive back out of the ground.
3.9% APR, 211 month loan, $405 a month = $88,787.75 to own.
Jesus Christ. How worthless of a human being do you have to be to want to steal someone else’s hard earned property and then when you are too inept to use it yourself you have to kill an innocent person?
Less of an air intake and more like a dick snorkel.
I always found it kind of adorable that The Dale was given a nickname his fans can’t even spell
