Agreed. It's a documentary, though they did put their own spin on it. I can't blame Prost for being upset with the end depiction, nor can I blame the writer and director for wanting to make an interesting documentary. It is what it is..

I'm with you, but we already trust computers to manage our lives, just not as explicitly and directly. Hackers could just as easily modify your credit rating, frame you for illegal activities and block your cell phone in an emergency situation. If approached reasonably, there's no reason why a self-driven car needs

I'm not sure I understand the tantrums in response to self-driving cars when they obviously have numerous uses, this being just one of them. The world needn't be taken over by autopilots, but it certainly is a nice option to have, isn't it?

This is so bad-ass! I have a new hero.

Well as long as it doesn't ACTUALLY make you a 90's porn star.. :)

The color sucks...

Mustang or Camaro. We're talking about speed here, right? Not overall sporting ability? Yeah, one of those two will be fine..

I believe it's 'Just A Chinese' ...truck...

Ferris Bueller was an 'egocentric cock' all along. Why are we surprised that he grew up to be lame? Perhaps we should file a petition on whitehouse.gov?

I don't think I much like this William cat..

Absolutely. All depends on the end user and their morals/intelligence. Usually best to avoid all the 1 & 5 star reviews for a product, anyway.

Parallel twin, goes absolutely anywhere, cannot be stopped. Low power but massive climbing ability, and excellent fuel mileage. Though I'd probably bring something with KTM scribbled on the side for the flatter bits..

I'm not sure bribing customers for good reviews is anything new..

Zee terrorists will have their own Unmanned Feline Vehicles shortly...

I agree that it'd be nice to have this functionality in cars; I only know that AutoZone offers free scans because I've had to use the service. But I don't like seeing manufacturers forced to do something. I'd prefer to see them offer this information in order to gain an edge on the competition, and the competition

What about the women actually wearing nothing? At what point do we start disrespecting the people doing the actual job, rather than the company offering the position? We arrest prostitutes, not the principals that failed them in elementary school. We ticket speeders, not the makers of cars capable of 155mph. Yet

Hmm.. I had no idea.. I think I would rather petition auto parts stores not being allowed to scan, rather than forcing auto makers to include in the car. But either would work. Seems illegal to prevent such a service, though...

How would the end result be any different if the message came from the dash?

OBD-II scans are free at any AutoZone, as are the store manager's explanation and recommendation, which is more than you'll get from the display on your dash. I'm not signing a frackin' petition to make this shit legally required..

I really like the food truck idea. It's a booming fad right now (maybe more than a fad), and perfectly inline with the concept of the show. Gourmet food trucks could be great.
