Of course it doesn’t cost that much to manufacture the discs on that high of a level, but that’s less profit to be had. So given the choice which way do you think these publishers are going to go.

That’s the thing, all of the data is not on the disc. It’s becoming more and more of the norm. For instance Jedi Survivor would require multiple discs if that was the case.
When you have to download the game even with a disc it sure can be taken away from you. As is the case with Jedi Survivor the whole game isn’t really on the disc, it just allows you to access the full download. The powers that be can still turn that off at some future date.
Much like the real Staten Island, it’s probably going to be a pain in the ass to get to in the game if it’s included.
I’ve looked at those, sadly I don’t think they’d fit my iPad. Which would be my preferred method of streaming. When and if it ever works for me.
Instead dumping all of this money into the making of a whole new device why don’t they spend the money to make their remote play app more reliable? If they want to sell me something, make a joy-con like dual sense device that I can strap on my phone or iPad.
They are reading the room, and it’s making them a shit ton of money.
My only issue I had with the app and still hasn’t been fixed to this day is that to get anything to stream in Dolby Vision I could only use the built in app on my TV. In all other streaming devices that specific feature has never been available.
You just described the history of Viagra.
My main complaint with the Seinfeld finale is that they made it a clip show. Sure the premise was weak and based on everything Kramer has done to that point it seems like he would have stepped in, but the court room scenes had some very good moments.
I just can’t with Wes Anderson. I liked Rushmore, did not enjoy The Royal Tenenbaums and everything post that else just looks like it’s and equation of throwing in as many famous actors as you can, do something with the color palette, add quirk but just change the setting = new Wes Anderson movie.
Sure HBO Max the app has it’s quirks (mostly for me it was not being able to stream Dolby Vision on anything but the built in app to my TV), but it’s by far has the most consistently high quality content. Maybe Max will sort it out but the problem is you loose the HBO prestige with a name like Max. Most people with…
I know I’m in the minority, but I enjoy it more than Step Brothers.
I like Thomas Jane’s Punisher for the old PS2 game. But that movie stunk.
RIP to the greatest Frank Castle there has been to date. Let us not forget his comic timing in The Other Guys. But the less we say about his season of Dexter the better.
Predatory, sure. Illegal, probably not. They just need to update the TOS to include it. Should they highlight it more, in a perfect world it would be nice. But they know people aren’t going to read that shit. Hence why it seeing being more predatory than illegal.
Why did you have to bring up Gamer’s Club Unlocked? Now I’ll have to weep in my office’s bathroom for the rest of the day. 20% off the top of new games, better trade in values than GameStop and they usually added a $10 Best Buy gift certificate to every pre-order. Plus you could put that trade in money towards…
I see, I knew there was some new catch to the points. I just got confused as to what it was.
There were Jurassic Park toys 30 years ago, they just weren’t that great. Unless that’s what you mean. But they sure made Dennis Nedry look like a bad ass.
Meh, this is pretty much how all loyalty reward programs are going these days. Starbucks just switched theirs from spending $50 for a free regular coffee to now having to spend $100. Best Buy just straight up canceled their points program unless you subscribe to their rewards system whatever it is. I guess giving…
