Yup. The fact that he shot the gf first and then killed himself in the end makes this a classic spree-kill. The killer's attempt to justify his spree by claiming it was in retaliation for police brutality was only part of his grandiose delusions.

Black people can't be mentally ill. Only white people can kill wantonly because of mental illness.

If this shooter had been white, the media would call it an isolated incident.

Most of the photos I've seen of the epidemic in Africa have been of medical personnel in their protective gear. The photo of the child is not the only photo you could use, but it does invoke certain feelings on the part of westerners, that tie into the history of colonialism, so that's presumably why they chose it.

Or they haven't been sent. It's completely inexcusable that we're sitting around pledging to help without actually helping.
