Jon Lester can’t toss a baseball 60 feet, from the pitcher’s mound to first base, without one-hopping it,

The truly batshit crazy thing is not that he had trouble finding it, but that he thought a fucking golf major was not on TV, and that no one had thought to put a golf major on TV.

The form is fine, keyboard jockey. Post yours if you think it’s so much better.

You have some issues to work out.

I’ve always thought he seemed like a decent guy, he just seems like the type of guy that isn’t going to go out of his way just to get people to like him. He seems like the type of guy that is like, “This is me, if you don’t like me, whatever, I don’t really care. You can leave then if you want, or stay and hang out.

As a Chicago resident - Cutler is actually low-key a pretty good person from most accounts. He spent a lot of his time volunteering with children’s charities and such while in Chicago (most likely not for orgs that focus on vaccinations but still).

I never knew Jay Cutler could be likeable, and then he busts out a “no, but I bet you do” and now I regret not having him on my fantasy bench every year.

Being that the majority of them are his peers in not only age but probably similar backgrounds, they would say he’s a great teammate and doesn’t deserve this.

My wife- who has spent a lot of her life watching many reality TV shows- refuses to DVR this one for me. And no, I’m not going to do it myself.

You’re a remarkable idiot

I don’t want it gone. I want the corrupt system and current rendition of it to be taken down and fixed.

As stupid as the specifics of Werth’s rant are (nerds! computers on the field! MIT grads who never played!), I think his overall point is different from the reactionaries during the sabermetric revolution. He’s not saying bunts are better for helping win games than home runs, or that advanced metrics are preventing

Offloading them in China would incur a 25% tariff, adding around $6m to the cost of bringing them into the country”

So the 1.5 million ahead turns into a...4.5 million dollar loss.

Stupid facts.

I mean, that’s exactly what the blogger did say. But hey, facts can so inconvenient to internet commenters when they don’t back up what they want the story to say...

He’s racist. But you’re not incorrect in your reading. Specifically, he’s not virulently racist because POC just are in a large bucket of all the people he doesn’t give a shit about (even any wealthy ones with which he has to interact so long as they don’t trip his political radar). But probe his opinions in any

The post didn’t say that the owners weren’t coming out on top via this math. It was just pointing out how absurd it is for something like this to actually be profitable. Just because almost everything in life is absurd doesn’t mean we can’t point it out.

The Financial Times is basically the English version of the Wall Street Journal (except it was never owned by the Murdochs, so it’s a lot starchier and doesn’t mix as much bullshit with its right-wing politics).  It’s one of the most credible newspapers there is.

Not sure your point. My point was Black Panther was seen as a risk, and that’s been clear from various people (even some of the commentary on avengers 3 release). If you're looking to maximize profits, you don't take risks. You make 'safe' things like Iron Man 4. Since it's not a gamble, the ceiling is lower, but the

Also, why are there always so many stories about the NFL draft? None of these guys have won any Super Bowls. Sounds like a bunch of Al Bundy types.
