“...not only did he break Uber’s laws,”

Sure, that sucks for Croatia, but protesting a murderous oligarch is a tad more important.

Ah yes, I understand completely

England did the most England thing and added a superfluous ‘u’ to “go forth”.

probably not too many lawyers reading here either

What lecture? He was in a meeting, a meeting that was not planned to be featuring any racial slurs. Leaving aside the idea that any HR meeting can be an “educational context,” that wasn’t what happened here.

I mean everyone says “n-word”, that’s ok. In an educational context you really have to use the real words.

When people talk about how “service sector jobs aren’t meant to be careers”, what’s the solution to all the adults who have to work them anyway? Bootstraps? Certain industries with job-shortages aside, there’s still not enough white collar or skilled trade “career jobs” to go around.

Did I miss some salient and intelligent aspect to this or are you a fucking apologist for racist bullshit? Asking for a friend would like to give you a mouthful of bloody Chiclets.

Yes, if you are at a company lecture on racial tolerance, you should never, under any circumstances, use a hard-r racial slur even if you think it’s “in an educational context”. The whole point of company lectures on racial tolerance is to try to get it through skulls as thick as yours that it is never acceptable in

Under the Affordable Care Act, which Papa John vociferously and publicly opposed, large businesses are required to give all their full-time employees health insurance. It doesn’t matter if a job is meant to be a career job or not, and it’s utterly insane to suggest that only people in “career jobs” deserve health

Yes it is.

Damn, Liangelo didn’t even get a photo?  Sucks to be the middle child.

He also appears to headbutt him then tries to instigate a fight with his “What you gonna do?” bullshit. This kind of “coaching” shouldn’t be tolerated at any level, but particularly in what is (I assume) a league that is supposed to be for young players to develop their game.

Does anyone else feel like a league that’s separate from the NBA that allows high school and college players to get paid is a fantastic idea that would be great if anyone besides LaVar fuckin’ Ball was in charge of it?

It’s pretty weird, almost certainly completely ineffective, and yeah, generally that kind of thing is considered grossly inappropriate in sports. If the only motivational tactic you can come up with is literally roughing up your own players, you’re a complete failure of a coach.

I want to die bankrupt after a long illness and for my children to live their lives with crippling student debt, thank you very much.

In a way. Only you’re the stripper.

WHY DIDN’T YOU LET US SCORE LOTS OF GOALS?!?!
