First off, it’s not called a quarterback, it’s called a pitcher and he isn’t one. It’s called the World Series, not the Superbowl and HOUSTON won that. There’s more than one baseball team in Texas.

Ask yourself, of all of the baseball transactions to happen, why is there a blog post about this one?

How on earth am I supposed to know what to like if I can’t tell what everyone else likes this is bullshit

I agree its not “just” 3 years.

I really don’t have the energy to go back and chart for you the number of times the league has been found to have been engaged in anti-competitive behavior

If you were concerned about the market, it shouldn’t matter that they’re making higher salaries even at the rookie scale than most people, because you would recognize their life time earning potential is overwhelmingly concentrated in their 20s and 30s unlike essentially everyone else in the country. What matters is

this is an awful take... in baseball it’s an okay (but still wrong)take but not in football

The Eagles are undeniably the best football team in the world and have been more or less uninterrupted for the last five months.

I’m not sure you have a grasp on what Ray’s faults actually are.

Did you read the article? It very clearly states that the rule hasn’t gone into effect yet, and the Senate will have 60 days to override the ruling.

Showing up to show that the article doesn’t actually conform to reality is not “proving his point”. Not every insult towards Patriots fans or The Patriots are automatically true because you want them to be.

Funny, I remember Pats fans blaming dumb luck for a receiver’s good fortune in both their Superbowl losses as well as a begrudging respect for The Giants. Never once heard a Pats fan blame the refs or the league for their biggest losses. I’m all for taking the piss out of Pats fan in which I am admittedly one. Drew

I think you’re replying to the wrong person? But yeah I assume he was joking with that picture.

Some coked up asshole.

Pretty sure that’s Anthony Tolliver.

A one-off could be chalked up to an error. But Todd has a litany of highly suspect scores submitted via less than honest means (a friend acting as judge, or even entering his own.)

And a lot of his scores are ridiculously far above the second place entry.

Now playing

This YouTube video demonstrates how suspect Todd Rogers is. The vast majority of his scores were “verified” by a judge who was a personal friend, and he has been caught inputting some of his own scores into the TG leaderboards.

Why should they train for the moment some dipshit decides to influence the outcome of a game.

That’s not a real comparison. If the crowd is always yelling, a player can compensate. The sudden noise when quiet is expected is different.

Fuck context, I always say.
