Yeah but still.
Yeah but still.
It’s still newer than the Nissan Z. Might as well just put it back on the market.
Anyone going to the 'ring now needs to wrap thier car in camo to confuse photogs
You are aware it’s different authors, right? Or would you rather every writer at every publication was in lock-step for every opinion?
I feel like the C2 defined the bodystyle for the cars even through this latest generation. The sharp, pointy fenders, the ‘aerodynamic’ shape, exotic materials or construction - all of that started with the C2.
True. And this is why the C8 can carry two golf bags and has a lot of livability built into it - because the people most likely to buy it are the same (older) crowd who want an American “sports” car. They wear their aviator sunglasses and WW2 leather bomber jacket, wrap themselves in the flag and make vroom vroom…
Boomers right now are mainly worried with the facility they’re going to end up in, and how big the bedsores are going to be.
Its like this comment is speaking directly to me. Im 48, so only a few years younger than you and i genrally hate boomers and like the youths.
Get ready, then. The top end is an over 1000hp hybrid with awd. The C7ZR1 could easily put up a sub 7m 'Ring if it'd had anything other than abysmal luck, and the C8 is going to be hilariously better.
Did you even read that article?? The whole message is that it IS a sub 7 car but bad luck, crowded track, weather, and scheduling issues held it back, not lack of performance.
Fun fact: in 1999, the base price of a Corvette was $38,820. Adjusted for inflation, that’s...$59,780.
The absolute best thing about the C8 is that it definitively tells boomers to wrap it the hell up, and exit stage left. Your time is over, and we don’t care if you don’t buy this car. I am 51 years old, and I just purchased and Alfa Romeo Giulia Sport TI, and when my lease is up on that car, I will seriously consider…
Electric cars existed before the Model 3
Any other cars switch from FR to MR in just one year?
Unfortunatly, I think it will age extremely well. Ford like many American car companies is still in wait and see mode. I think it has gone beyond dragging their feet on EV to flat refusal to see they should be part of leading innovation instead of running from it
And too, that he is a proud owner of a Hyundai Santa Fe
I genuinely hope they prove me wrong. I’m more than happy to eat crow.
The best part about this comment is the dude that took it seriously.
Ford was testing a hybrid Transit Connect in the article I linked to, and the lead image was of a hybrid TC taxi.
I haven’t forgotten about the Rivian deal, but that’s not going to happen overnight either. Where is it? Oh, another 4 year project. Where’s the hybrid F150? Who knows.
I agree 99%. I’d just like everyone to know that on modern cars, you normally don’t need to bleed the brakes after every pad change. As long as you haven’t opened the brake lines or any of the hydraulic components you shouldn’t need to bleed.
