I imagine it was a real pain in the ass to write and intertwine those six different origin stories. I'm sure they don't want to go that route again.

@Tenshigure: Good call. Console versions have some nasty framerate issues, especially towards the end of the game. I'm sure there will be a PC version eventually.

@PunkyChipsAhoy: That would make a lot of sense, exceeeept.....

@CloserDivision: The scary thing is that it would be really easy to turn COD into an MMO type shooter. But it sounds like Kotick wants Xbox Live to do all the work while he reaps the rewards.

So they want us to buy their game and then pay them again in order to play it?

@conman157: These consumption curves are impossible to predict because technology always improves and finds a way to get more from less. I remember reading we'd be completely out of oil by 2010 when I was a kid.

@Tpadz: Zerg are good early on, but get owned once you start hitting tier 2 and 3. If Koreans are generally the type to rush early, I can see why they'd think this.

People have been getting stalked/harrassed/"pedophiled" on the internet for a long time; not to mention in real life. It's not behavior exclusive to Blizzard Forums. Privacy is an illusion, anyhow. If people want to find your info badly enough, they will.

Sounds expensive.

@ninjacrusader: You got it all wrong! First they're going to charge you for phase 2 beta access, THEN they will charge you a scaling weekly fee to play on battle.net.

@Kaneda: From a technical standpoint, the game is ready.

Has anyone ever even come close to filling up a 250GB hard drive on any console? I'm curious. I'm only using around 80GB on mine.

Chrono Trigger is perfect. You can't improve perfection. It still plays better than almost all RPGs that came after it. It didn't need the half-assed sequel it got, and it certainly doesn't need another half-assed sequel; no offense to Obsidian.

I once slim-jimmed into my friends pathfinder and hid a dead fish in his rear brake-light compartment. Took him three days to find it.

I love it. I'm a firm believer you shouldn't say anything on the internet that you aren't prepared to say in real life.

At this point you're better off waiting for the GOTY edition. It's gotta be right around the corner.

@sage_viper: and it's "Antivan", not Spanish.
