I've seen this for years, but it's usually for an entire manufacturer. This has led me to believe that they remove them to prevent the eventual theft.

While true that the i8 is more of a 2+2 than a 4 person vehicle the dimentions of the car are still quite a bit larger than that of the i3, other than the height of the vehicle that is. I've also seen both in person side by side and the i8 looks significantly larger. Here are the dimensions directly from the source:
the i8 of course.
This is Swiss-german (Germans generally cannot understand the dialect). See my comment for the translation
It has a plausible-ish explanation of why it's being filmed, since some sort of interview was taking place right before. But where did this happen — what language are we hearing at the very beginning? I see a couple Land Rovers way in the background, but can't make out the plates.
Good point, make it 4 if you want, but that wasn't really the point
It's gotta be blinker fluid
I never claimed it was plausible for commercial vehicles as-is, just that I like it's simplicity. So many dashboards today are a clusterf*ck hot-mess of over-designed sculptural elements that a 'back to roots' dash layout would be a nice change of pace.
Lucky until he had to clean up the brown mess on the driver's seat.
I have only visited the city, but saw that all the bike paths actually take the cyclists onto the sidewalks. When asking my cousin about this, he lived there, I was informed that this is the case throughout the city. Curious about this I did a little research and discovered this was not as uncommon as I had thought.…
In some cities you are required to ride on the sidewalk and not in the streets. Hamburg, Germany for instance.
Don't worry, this will be covered by the license plate.
Wasn't this posted about a week ago already?!?!?!?!
