What in the long history of James Cameron in general and "Avatar" in the specific made you believe that releasing one of those every other year was an attainable goal?

Your daily reminder that Kathleen Kennedy has been in tjis business for decades and neither knows who you are nor care about your uninformed opinion.
I’m getting to the place where I’ll believe there’s a Star Wars movie actually happening the week after it’s released in theaters.
After "Solo"'s infamous struggles trying to open five months after "The Last Jedi", I'm going and calling it that one of those TBD Star Wars is getting moved so we're not getting two a year.
Not arbitrary, it’s a month apart so you need to pay for two months of netflix if you want to watch both halves right away.
I figured the headline was just wrong about it releasing on June 2nd, but then it’s repeated in the article. Which to me means that you’re burying the lede... Netflix has cracked time travel! I look forward to the stated updates on this developing story.
I think you mean...
Isn’t it ironic that pirates may be our only hope?
At least with torrents there’s a stopgap.
I genuinely thought we were past this. At least with torrents there’s a stopgap. Something like Willow probably isn’t going to disappear for a while. But in 50 years it’ll be like recovering lost Doctor Who episodes on dusty VHS at an estate sale. Someone will find a hard drive with all of Infinity Train on it and the…
Streaming is effectively recreating the world that existed before home video, where you’d come across some show or movie on TV and never be able to see it again. We’re going backwards.
And the WGA’s grievances are legitimate, because the studios aren’t just “underpaying.”
Also, be active and vigilant in your union, because they are not immune to corruption, and a corrupt union makes every other union’s job more difficult. So if you are in a union, make sure to engage with it as much as you can to keep it honest and efficient.
“Marvel Pauses Wonder Man and Thunderbolts Indefinitely Due to Corporate Greed”
I wonder how many of these paused projects will never be restarted?
This is your daily reminder that the only power people have over their employers is the one they exercise collectively, as a union. That power is the reason we have safety regulations to make our workplaces safe to work in. It’s why we have 40-hour work weeks and (used to be) unconditional overtime pay. It’s why…
does the state want us to invest more, employ more people, and pay more taxes—or not?”
It would be even better if they took all\most of those 70k to another state when they went. Disney pays taxes itself, and it’s employees pay income tax and push money into the local economies. If even a quarter of those 70k employees followed Disney, the state would notice immediately.
God it would be awesome if they just closed the Disney World gates and said “enjoy your 75,000 additional unemployment applications.”
Sorry broseph, but those ‘other parks’ have diverse employee bases as well AND Disney does have slightly larger brand than most of the others (combined). So, good luck in your objective to rid yourself of the Mouse’s House, but don’t be sad when all you’re left with is termites...
