I don’t really get why this is seen as sexualizing them? All I’ve read is that they said it wasn’t smart enough. I get that people object to this applying to children but nothing in the article shows how this supposedly sexualizes them.

I think there’s a level of snobbery with this in some ways. Not sure if snobbery is exactly the right word as the options should be there across the board but struggling to think of a better word.

When I studied engineering (10 years ago) there were less than 20% women on the course so it’s not surprising they aren’t represented evenly in work. The problem starts early on and continues all the way through education to work. In the UK at least tech companies are making progress towards making a more flexible…

It’s pretty quick once you have a design laid out - can do that on computer or by hand on squared paper. I watch quite a bit of tv and find I can get a lot done in front of the tv without eating into my time too much. I’m not a pro but could do that in 2-3 evenings I guess.
