For me the concern here was more around his religious fundamentalism not his own intelligence .

If the baby will not survive it’s cruel to expect the mother to continue the pregnancy even if her life is not directly threatened. The article even says that they treated her only once the condition became life threatening.

Ooh ok that it getting into worrying territory with the dairy. I don’t know how you handle it if you have a strong ethical opinion about food but also want to do the best for your child, but this sounds like its not based on much really.

This really isn’t that unusual. The official advice in the UK is to not give baby anything other than breast / formula before 6 months, then from 6 months can add some dairy to cooking but they shouldn’t drink cows milk before 1 year. Some mums use breast milk in cooking especially if they introduce solids…
