I’m not surprised. PG&E stopped enrolling people into their EV plans as well. If you’re packing a level 2 charger and charging more than 10kWh/day, you’ll probably come out ahead.

Non-EV peak ToU pricing ranges between $0.23 to $0.28/kWh if you’re on a non-EV ToU. We pay $0.23/kWh during partial peak and $0.49/kWh during peak hours on the EV-A plan because they really want to discourage you from charging during peak hours.
Welcome to California, man. Our peak hour rate is something like $0.52/kWh.
We actually got a discount on top of our TOU rate by purchasing an EV. $0.13/kWh instead of something like $0.23/kWh during off-peak, but they do gouge us on peak hour pricing. We draw anywhere from 8 to 15 kWh per night on top of other uses, so we still come out ahead.
People could just as easily slash your tires if you park outside. Why would vandalism and property damage be limited only to EVs?
How’s co-op mode? I realize it’s not really designed to be a couch co-op game, but my husband and I have been trying to find something that we could play together that’s a little more immersive as well.
You see a bunch in California, where I imagine the bulk of the EV market is. The interior is actually pretty well-laid out. Front seat comfort was definitely lacking, though.
And phone calls! So many phone calls.
Naw. NAW. Vaseline and Vanicream all the way. My nighttime skincare staples for the past 5 years ever since I recovered from an awful 18-month long bout of eczema around my mouth.

Between the ages of 13-19, I wrote one entry per year summarizing my current tastes and relationships. Things like my favorite song/book/movie, as well as who my best friend was at the time (sorry, Allison), or who I was crushing on (not sorry, Philip)/dating. I eventually even lost that journal so I figured that was…
Interesting! I do recall Virgin Mary always being decked out in blue in all the pictures I saw of her.
My best birthday was my 4th where my mom bought a cake to share with my preschool class, but instead I threw a fit and she took a day off to stay at home so she could watch me stuff my face full of Safeway party cake. Thanks, Mom!
I’m so sorry you had to go through this! I hope you’re in a better environment now that supports your identity.
Not to mention many boys in her class like pink, play with dolls, and hate the sand pit.
And, thankfully, her school is 100% on board with this.
Yeah, I understand that that was her main motivation. I still see it as being bigoted because it suggests that her sons won’t be able to experience pink rooms or pigtails as a matter of fact.
Insecurity with a dash of harmful stereotyping! I like it.
I hope those thieves feel at least some guilt/shame for taking those shakers, but I know that probably isn’t the case. I knew someone who would regularly steal silverware and cups from our college dining commons. Their justification was that they had paid for it as part of their meal.
“I don’t need pigtails and pink rooms. I’m happy being the proud mom of two healthy little men,”
The Honday Clarity PHEV also gets 47 EV miles (more if you do a lot of stop-and-go), though it’s one size up from the Volt.
That makes sense-- story-wise, at least. I think they needed 8kWh to qualify for California incentives, and they were just barely under at 7.65kWh or something. I can’t imagine it would have been that hard to design in a battery that could hold 0.35kWh more.
