Until i actually try something like this, i believe it is nearly impossible to see something that is that close to your eyes without 100% taking your eyes off of the road/hill/etc in front of you.

you can do full 1080p over component on the ps3. (not fanboy'ing out here, just illustrating that 1080p can be achieved via component cable) Most people assume that HDMI is "better", when in fact, it's basically the same. It's merely more convenient to run 1 smaller HDMI cable rather than the bulkier component cable.
