Actually, multithreaded programs may see some benefit to additional RAM. If I were building a new machine and planning on a 64-bit OS I might go with 8GB, but I wouldn't upgrade a current machine from 4GB.

@stumble: I had no trouble with it at all. Do you have build 4.2.5?
@RightFootStar: I just logged out of it about 48 seconds ago.
I love bacon, but all these bacon-wannabes are false idols. In the words of a great wise sage, "there's only one thing that tastes like bacon and that's BACON." #mmmvelopes
It is, of course, raining here. Feh. #outdoors
@Crashproof: Well, now that I've gone and messed around with my drivers, it now thinks it's "USB Composite Device" and fails to connect. The debugging icon shows up on my phone just like it always did (though ADB doesn't connect), but now I have no option to mount the SD card. :P #googlemapsnavigation
@LennyM and several others: thanks, I will give that a try. I messed around with trying to replace the driver to no avail yesterday.
@MeOhMy: Yeah, I guess I need to wait as well. ADB won't recognize that my phone is plugged in. :p #googlemapsnavigation
Awesome, I had hoped for and expected this.
@plasticmouse: Yeah, I remember when a 19" TV was "big" :) #openthread
"...but only if you're strong enough to carry them!" #gamestop
@Derek Lund: pretty sure he tweeted something about not being able to support Hero due to closed source craziness of some sort or other. #cyanogenmod
PC version on Steam unlocks in just a few hours. I hope this workday goes by quickly... #borderlands
@mjm01010101: really? I've had no problems at all with Privoxy and Chrome. Been using that combo since the first Chrome open beta, on two desktops and a netbook. #chrome
I'm guessing a lot more more than 1% of those 1-cent-cheapskates would have paid $1 if that was the minimum price. #worldofgoo
@Whitson Gordon: the default Android browser seems to be really bad at caching. Just fixing that might be extremely helpful where it comes to speed.
When your first and last names are as common as mine, this sort of thing is hopeless. #onlineidentity
I updated to 4.1999 last night with this wiki, while playing D&D via webcam and GameTable. Truly this is the future.
Nice "eat your own dogfood" reference in that screenshot. :)
