No! It's not! (slams door)

Probably because there's been no follow-up.
They surprised people by revealing they'd been secretly working on it, and then it went back into silence mode because they'd been working so far under the radar didn't have a distribution deal or anything like that worked out. (word is that it wasn't supposed to be an

You know, Ash meeting Reggie would kind of be like running into your old high-school buddy who never got his act together.
… for BOTH of them.

Apparently, the whole source of the sequel problems was that Joe Lansdale had referred to a follow-up story called BUBBA-NOSFERATU… but had never actually written one, because he only had a vague idea (Elvis fights vampires while working on his 1968 "Comeback Special".)

There's a FREDDY VS. JASON VS. ASH comic book miniseries that is reportedly based on the ideas they had for the unmade movie.

Zack Snyder would have HIS Batman label everything, too… but, knowing Zack, it would end up like WATCHMEN, where Ozymandius has secret files on his computer entitled "BOYS".

The most important thing a tv producer does is say "yes" or "no" to other people's ideas.

``man-eating vaginas ``

…. okay, that was a bad design decision.
But the scrollwork on the frame was TOP QUALITY.

It's fascinating that Arnold's pitch for renewable resources is "What are you, dummies? This is where the money is!"… which is actually old news, but cons won't believe it until one of their own says it.
