Not always; I responded to 9/11 by hooking up with two coeds and making a sex tape. IT WAS A MOVING TRIBUTE TO THE FALLEN.

That's actually pretty classy, considering it basically translates into "Fuck you, Axel, you has-been".

He's in TRUMBO right now.

In defense of Louie DePalma: He was self-aware; they couldn't have done an episode called LOUIE GOES TOO FAR if Louie himself wasn't capable of realizing when he'd gone too. (and while his wrath was mighty when he thought he'd been screwed over, he was a surprisingly good sport when he was beaten fair and square.)
Of

Be fair; HIV prefers to work with people who get around.

The ACTUAL most dangerous game? A Tyrannosaurus who figured out that his tiny little arms are no good for fighting "dino-style"…but ARE the exact right size to carry pistols.

Creeper was actually supposed to become a semi-regular on "THE NEW BATMAN ADVENTURES" incarnation of BTAS, but the show didn't run long enough; he basically got an origin episode and a couple of cameos in his "civilian" identity.

Wanna give a shout out to the "Blight" story arc in Season 1, which actually takes that character as far as he can go. (the image of a guy who was once the most powerful man in Gotham reduced to a mutant skeleton monster on the run eating cold sandwiches is strangely humanizing). They were wise to have never brought

Well, he kind of did BOTH.
But I think the real point was to firstly, confirm that BB is definitely canon, and also to give Bruce the closest thing to a happy ending he could ever have: not necessarily a biological son, but a confirmation that the Batman Legacy will continue after his death.

The final season of JLU was, admittedly, a little bit of "Hey! Let's use those characters we never got around to before!"

It's interesting, in that it kind of flips Moore's original story; in the comic, Superman's subconcious keeps intruding into his dream, ruining the "perfect world" by bringing it down to earth with downbeat details- which is eventually what makes him realise it can't be real. But in the cartoon, Superman realises it's

It has a reputation as the "comedy version", but there's actually a surprising amount of serious stuff (all drawn straight from the comics; THE LAST PATROL and CHILL OF THE NIGHT are good examples).

GREEN LANTERN got really good, and would probably have the same kind of passionate cult following as YOUNG JUSTICE if a certain Ryan Reynolds movie hadn't messed things up.

Of course, this goes back to BTAS; personal underrated favorite: Roddy MacDowell as The Mad Hatter. (I always thought McDowell's Bookworm was the only one of the "original" villains from the Adam West series who could be dropped into a "straight" Batman story and come off like a real comic book "Rogue", so this always

JLU won't disappoint fans of BTAS. it's still Bats, just with a new ensemble cast.

He's denied it, but I can't help but think that THIS was his direct response to MAN OF STEEL: it's not that Superman would never kill; it's just that Zack Snyder is a lousy dramatist!: https://www.youtube.com/wat…

it really became a worthy successor to JLU (which also started off a bit shakey in it's first season as JUSTICE LEAGUE)

I'd also like to have seen that "Batgirl CGI" series teased in the last episode of BRAVE AND THE BOLD (although I kind of liked BEWARE THE BATMAN, which had potential)

JLU is in many ways a better show in almost every department- largely a result of having had several earlier series to hone their craft on.
But BTAS has that special magic that comes from being the one that put all the pieces together.
BTAS is STAR WARS to JLU's EMPIRE STRIKES BACK.

As I recall, his actual comment was about how all the shows since BTAS being done on computers had the side-effect of making BTAS look older than it was… and since they were TRYING to give the show a "retro" look, that actually aided the intended effect.
I'm pretty sure he wasn't in any way expressing opposition to
