The original Countach was sleek and beautiful; perhaps Gandini’s best work ( along with the Miura and Alfa Montreal ). The prototype was especially gorgeous, but even the initial production version is clean and uncluttered. Latter versions got pretty ugly with the plastic fender flares and wings. The extremification

I really like the Huracan design. I think it harkens back to the clean ‘60s/‘70s Lamborghini designs of Marcello Gandini ( The best lamborghini period, design-wise ), more so than anything by Giugiaro. That’s the way it should be.

I love the Huracan too, but every time I see it I can’t help but think of this:

They seem to give the Huracan a lot of shit for being too boring but then they give Lamborghini shit for having too many creases. They’ll never be happy. The Huracan looks good to me. I just think all modern Lambos should have the lift doors. Entry level or not.

Thanks for reminding me to make an appointment for new glasses.

well, 2 anyway...one is just a bike.

Megalon* it’s right there in his caption

I’d like to discuss BMW’s “Art car”.

One possible use for all those VWs

“That you think that paying someone a livable wage, paying someone enough that they don’t need to sleep in a car, or don’t need to work 80 hours a week just to pay the bills in a cramped 1-bedroom apartment, only proves what a fucking selfish worldview you have”

“He’s telling his story to make positive changes in his life”

So let’s get this straight...

Uber has always billed their service as a way for people to make extra cash. A side hustle. Weekend money. The fact that some people opt to try to turn that into a full-time job is nobody’s problem but their own.
